 . It is a practical operational tool\, but one surrounded by legal\, ethic
 al\, technical\, and human risk. This presentation takes casino surveillan
 ce leaders on a journey from the basic mechanics of FRT through its histor
 y\, legal evolution\, public concerns\, casino-specific use cases\, and re
 sponsible deployment controls.\n\nThe session will explore what FRT is\, w
 hat it is not\, why people fear it\, how the law is evolving\, and how cas
 inos can think sensibly about deployment. It will challenge the audience t
 o move beyond vendor promises and superficial objections alike\, and inste
 ad ask the questions that actually matter: What problem are we trying to s
 olve? Is FRT the right tool? What are its limits? Who reviews the alerts? 
 What evidence is needed before action is taken? How do we govern the syste
 m after it goes live?\n\nThe message is simple: facial recognition can be 
 valuable\, but only when it is understood\, constrained\, documented\, rev
